Jennifer was born and raised in New Jersey. Some have called it the armpit of America, but Jen likes to think of it as the big toenail of America -- with a tasteful polish and pedicure, it can be beautiful. As a teen, Jen joined the American Ballet Theater traveling company, followed by a stint with The Washington School of Ballet. But Jen ultimately chose to focus her attention on theater (because dancing professional ballet as a teenager wasn't enough trauma) and pursued a BFA in Drama at NYU Tisch School of the Arts.

Jen graduated NYU with Honors and mounds of student debt. After starring off broadway in critically acclaimed performances of THE TEMPEST and MAD FOREST, she moved to LA, where Judd Apatow tapped Jen to star in the pilot of his first TV series LOVE. Jen followed with a role in Pamela Adlon’s BETTER THINGS on FX and the critically acclaimed film THE EMISSARY with Margo Martindale. Jen can also be seen putting her comedy skills to work in national commercials for AT&T and Burger King as well as on her award winning sketch comedy channel, Gorgeous Grandpa Comedy, which won "Best Mockumentary" at the Austin Film Festival.

Jen is also an avid TV/Film writer, most recently completing the UCLA Extension screenwriting program. Jen loves writing -- though Jen does not love writing about herself in the third person. Other things Jen loves: dogs, eye glasses without smudges, air hockey (she will crush you), writing in first person, garlic, designer vintage, and Ancient Rome.
